The B42 or ‘Darwin’ shape was originally launched to honour Charles Darwin and to celebrate the 150th anniversary of his pioneering work ‘The Origin of the Species’. Following this success, the shape was introduced within the wide Peterson pipe range. It is a large apple shaped bowl with an army style Peterson Lip mouthpiece and nickel band complete with the K&P stamp. The pipe name and ‘B42’ shape number has been hand stamped in the traditional Peterson method.
